Nice pub for a family group get-together with children. Friendly service and good food. Fish batter could have been crisper, though, but fish itself was very good.

Problems in the kitchen meant over an hour and a half waiting for food. Suggested a round of drinks on the house (1 pint, a coke and a non alcoholic beer) and was nearly shown the door.
