Lovely pub friendly atmosphere great staff food is lovely music on most nights and a quiz on a Wednesday evening great cracker highly recommended next door to the botanical Gardens

Excellent experience. My wife and I went there for lunch at the carvery during our honeymoon. The wait staff were engaging and helpful, and the pub had a cozy environment. They even gave my wife and I a free dessert in honor of our celebration.

For dinner, the buffet was simple and adequate. The dishes were good without being exceptional, but the generous portions meant you left feeling satisfied, which was a plus. Overall, it was fairly basic, but it did the job for an uncomplicated meal. The service was friendly and quite relaxed, although the experience sometimes lacked that little something extra to make it stand out. A decent place to eat your fill, without any pretensions.

Quiet pub. Bot out of town but has a good carvery

I went in here for a quick sandwich. It was a lovely turkey slice from the carvery with chips for only €10. I wrapped half the sandwich in a napkin to take away but when I came back from the loo, the waitress had wrapped it up for me, added a few chips and put it all in a take away bag. I was bringing it to my son in the nearby hospital. I was very impressed. Fabulous gesture, I highly recommend this pub

We visted for the roast on a Sunday a little late about6. The full portion18e half was 16e. Plate not large in size but portion size was good for price. Quite salty but I dont do salt in many meals, Complimentary blackcurrent.I would return.

Really like this pub as it caters for all types and has music, also does food which is really good, there is also outside seating at the back, would recommend. Parking can be tricky if it is busy. It is a walk up so not sure if a table can reserved.

Very nice bar . Comfortable and quiet when I visited . Food served and plenty of seating . A must visit if in the area .

This is a hidden Irish gem, serving fresh Irish food, reasonably prized food and drink. Staff is very nice, reasonable prizes of drinks unlike city centre. It is mainly attended by local Irish people, so if you are looking for an autentic Irish gastro pub this is the place to visit. It is located next to the stunning National Botanic gardens- must see for the tourists. Enjoy the beautiful nature in the Botanic Gardens and drop by next door for Irish food and live music. It has a nice car park in the back of the pub, so feel free to drive.
