Got fish and chips here last night and was throughly surprised. Very unusual setting(in a service station) but really loved it. The fish was definitely the nicest piece of cod I have had in a long time. Perfectly cooked. Chips were solid also. Only the onion rings stopped me giving the food a 5 stars. Would definitely recommend though...

Bartys Take Away

25/09/2025: Haven't got Barties in along time,i got it on a random night passing 2wks back and food was savage,got it tonight aswell and was worth putting in the review,a notified 40 mins delivery time through online order which was on time, lovely grub 👍
29/08/2025: There isn't many traditional chip shops left in Cork but barties ,is one of the very few left around, for both local and visitors alike is well worth a visit, I highly recommend the quarter burger, one of the best you ever eat, and really friendly staff

27/11/2025: It was just okay for what I ordered, but there were other things that looked good, it was on my way, I might go back tomorrow and improve the review and the experience.
