After taking Barry Molone's walking tour, I popped in here for a quick pint. It was VERY local heavy, and I, the obvious American tourist, was completely ignored by the staff, and glared at by the surly looking company. This place is perfectly located and has a colorful exterior, but I didn't have a good experience.

15/01/2026: Had a nice pint of Guinness here. Friendly staff and customers. They also have a small but nice outdoor seating area. Nice music, not too loud but still loud enough to create a good vibe. Beware of the rule of non-paying customers not being allowed to stay. It looks like even if you're a part of a paying group but aren't getting anything for yourself, you'd be asked to leave.
08/10/2025: Easily the best local pub in Kinsale. The owners are great craic, and the pint of Guinness the best in town by a country mile. Really enjoyed the couple of nights that I spent here.

08/10/2025: We got takeout here for 4 people. We had the spice bag (not enough curry), chicken fried rice (not fried enough and mushy), sweet and sour pork (ok) and a few other dishes. All were subpar. We would not return.
14/08/2025: Gorgeous crispy duck,mushroom sauce,fried rice.Chicken chop suey,amazing!!!!thanku.
