After taking Barry Molone's walking tour, I popped in here for a quick pint. It was VERY local heavy, and I, the obvious American tourist, was completely ignored by the staff, and glared at by the surly looking company. This place is perfectly located and has a colorful exterior, but I didn't have a good experience.

Lovely pub to visit for a few quiet drinks and a bag of tayto or two and tv to watch the sports. Lovely locals and friendly staff!

13/08/2025: Currently on the wild Atlantic way and stopped here for food the prices are great the food tastes lovely and the service is fast , friendly and efficient would recommend to anyone visiting kinsale

The White House Pub

12/05/2025: The White House prides itself on being a AA Guesthouse, Restaurant & Bar. We decided to have dinner there. My wife and I had the Fish & Chips with local Sovereign Island lagers and glasses of Blacks Maple Mayhem Irish Whiskey. Dinner was wonderful, relaxing in a quaint environment. Not sure about other restaurants since it is a small village/town, but this a pretty good option.
18/04/2025: I had a late lunch at the restaurant. I had the venison stew and my husband had the chicken dish. the service was great and location easy to find
