O'shea's Kitty in Cobh

Very quiet and elegant place. I took haddock and chips, very very good. Do not miss it if you go to Cobh

One of the few nearby restaurants open on Monday evenings. You can get many popular Irish dishes here at reasonable prices. The fish is well-seasoned and thickly breaded. The fries are standard and served with a tasty sauce. The burger is loaded with cheese, and the beef itself is juicy. The portions are huge, so you can easily fill up. I recommend it.

Food was good. Didn't feel super welcoming and I find that odd as that's the only place in all of Ireland that I felt that way. I don't know if it was timing or the staff were having a bad day but we felt like simply being there was an inconvenience to them. All in all though, we made the best of our time there and enjoyed the food and entertained ourselves with quiet conversation. We didn't stick around much longer though to have drinks and rest up for the next part of our adventure. We felt more like we needed to move on. Would I come back? Maybe. But it would be much lower on my list in the future.

The food was good however the service was lacking. They were not terribly busy and we waited 5-10 minutes to be greeted by what I believe was the manager. She then went and got a server who seemed like she had much better things to be doing.
