Very nice experience, appetizing dishes, friendly staff, sublime Irish coffee, I highly recommend it.

Right across the street from the famous Brazen Head. This place felt very authentic with local service and delicious, filling, Irish food.

We went there more or less spontanius with a lange group of German students on a weekday and found space for all of us in the cosy back of the pub. Some students had to wait a little long which we found apropiate for 50 oders at the same time. So everyone was happy for the last night in Dublin. Our next study trip will surely have dinner here again.

O’Shea’s Merchant, located in the heart of Dublin, is a quintessential Irish pub known for its authentic atmosphere and live traditional music sessions. The pub offers a cozy indoor setting adorned with memorabilia reflecting Ireland’s rich history. For those who prefer the outdoors, there’s also a seating area outside where customers can enjoy their drinks and meals. The combination of live music and the option to sit outside makes it a delightful spot for both locals and tourists seeking a genuine Irish pub experience.

Food was great, atmosphere was good but we had a difficult time with the service. We had to ask for the check twice and when they finally brought it they gave us the wrong table. Luckily they fixed it right away. They also forgot to bring some drinks we ordered, and while they were checking on tables near us fairly often they hardly came to us and it was difficult to get their attention. We ended up staying a good 30 minutes later than we planned because it took so long for them to bring drinks and the check.

Food was good for brunch, service was rather bar serviced based on the crowd but still a good place for a bite!

The Food was good and decently priced. The service was good and the staff wasn't pushy which was nice. Live music everyday and the band puts on a really good show.

We went as a big group, and got seated straight away which was really good. We ordered from the breakfast menu. It was really pricey for what you would get - got 2 sausages 2 rashers 2 eggs for €11.50. Maybe that’s just how expensive Dublin has gone. The food was really nice, just portions could have been bigger but at least it was nice.

Quaint atmosphere, cool pub.
You can usually find a place to eat, as it's not directly in the city center.
The service is friendly.
The food isn't bad, but it's not particularly great either.
