Superb Irish experience, loved my lamb stew and even my Guinness beer. Service was great. The bread was real bread and not like the crap we eat back home.

Not very big, but very cozy. We were served in Spanish and very kindly. The food was average but traditional. They have a children's menu for €10, which is fantastic.

High quality, loved the irish beef stew, must try! Quite atmosphere and very good prices taking into account where's located.

Delicious, both the grilled lamb chops (see photo) and the whiskey sausages. Highly recommended for the Temple Bar area.

We had dinner here tonight. Excellent food at prices well below the standards of more famous establishments. Typical food. No concoctions. We had the Guinness Stew or the Irish Stew (photo) and the Whiskey Sausage, both for 15.95. The two waitresses were very kind. We'll definitely be back before we leave.

A traditional Irish restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Irish food at a good price and very tasty. The fish and chips were spectacular, as were some meat stews, such as beef with Guinness beer or a typical sausage stew with mashed potatoes, peas, and brown sauce.

The Waterloo

18/09/2025: This pub is an absolute gem and easily one of the best in town. It has such a fantastic, classic vibe that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend checking out their Tuesday quiz night—it’s a blast and always a great time.
14/09/2025: What a delightful surprise to find such an outstanding spot just a short stroll from our hotel (Dylan Hotel). The Waterloo House delivered on every front—food, service, atmosphere, and that rare feeling of being genuinely welcomed. 🧅 The Onion Rings were a crispy, golden revelation—light, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. 🍽️ My wife’s dish? I can’t recall the name, but I do remember her smile. That says it all. 🍺 The beer selection was a standout—diverse, well-curated, and full of local flavor. The bartender guided us with care and offered a small sample to help us choose. I landed on the Wicklow Wolf, and now I’m on a mission to find it back home. It’s that good. 🎨 And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get better, we noticed the picture of Sinéad—a quiet, powerful tribute that added soul to the space. Whether you're in for a pint, a bite, or a moment of calm in the city, The Waterloo House is the kind of place that makes you feel lucky to have found it. We’ll be raising a glass to this memory for a long time.
