Me and my buddies went to osta after a heavy night of drinking in Sligo we went to osta’s and they sorted us out with brilliant service cracking jokes and having the craic . Míse our server went above and beyond to sort us out with our large order . Excellent stuff 🚀🚀😋✊🏿

We went here for brunch today, on the back of good word of mouth, but honestly were pretty disappointed. Warm drinks were ok but the food was very very bland and the bread that we were served with it was stale. I will not be going back to eat here again personally.

Butter was served with a vegan breakfast. The soup that was ordered didn't come at all.sausage in breakfast bap was overcooked at the ends. French toast slightly overdone on one side, other side fine. The eggs florentine perfect. Staff seemed stressed. Coffees and tea very good.

We stopped by to have breakfast and we couldn't be happier about our decision. The breakfast was amazingly good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The views from the cafe are also spectacular. You can be drinking coffee beside the river. I truly recommend this place.

Four of us went in and each ordered something different, and everyone was delighted. All the food delicious, staff really lovely and friendly, beautiful atmosphere, decor, and view of the river. Perfect spot for great food and relaxed vibes. Would be very quick to go back 👌

17/02/2025: Just on a day visit to Sligo and this place got good reviews. Chicken burger was very nice, server was polite and prices very reasonable. Will come again.
11/02/2025: Really enjoy atmosphere, warm personal and tasty food. The river views from the table deserves a 10 note!

11/09/2024: It's fifty years since I last ate in this Sligo institution, and it was delightfully old fashioned even then. I was amazed to find it unchanged! The decor is lovely, with an airy cafe feel, though they've added a little extension. Packed to the door with locals - always a good sign - we were lucky to get a table. (It got a lot quieter at 2pm as everyone returned to work.) I wasn't expecting much, but the food really does taste homemade ! Quite how they manage this I don't know. We had the steak & mushroom pie and the glazed ham. Both great value for money. We highly recommend Lyons cafe for lunch.
