What a wonderful establishment! We stayed in the village for 2 days and went to this pub both nights. Owner is a wonderful host and we even played an impromptu gig on the 2nd night. Thanks again Alan for a wonderful time! Can’t wait to come back!
We recently had the good fortune to meet Alan and experience the amazing hospitality at the Otter when visiting on a 3 generational girls trip. The first night was a local potluck of sorts and we were invited to join. We didn’t have anything to share but that was no bother! The other patrons were also extremely friendly and so we went back for the music on Sunday. What talent! Complete with 3 pub dogs and good beer on tap, the Otter is not to be missed. We will surely recommend it to friends if they ar etraveling in the area and it’s also a good reason to to back to Ireland :)
