An extremely cozy little bar, you feel at home here! We went to live music and it was really nice and familiar. I can only highly recommend it to anyone who comes here!

The owner is so great! Usually there is live music in the pub. People can just join in if they feel like it. Super cool, laidback atmosphere. We are complete tourists (from austria) and we were welcomed here so amazingly, that it just felt like we belonged.
I usually don't drink/like beer, but the guiness and red ale just hit the spot.
10/10 would recommed visiting this gem if you are anywhere near this area.
My wife and I stayed in the village for a week and a half, we went in all the pubs and this was by far and away the best. Full of local characters all of whom were charming coupled with a few tourists like ourselves. We, and our three dogs, were welcomed and the two pub dogs were great. Alan the landlord is a gem of a bloke who can’t do enough for you and goes out of his way to enhance your stay. Excellent music nights also are put on. Special mention to Mia who is a font of knowledge regarding local history and took us on a fantastic guided tour of the village. We will definitely be back!!
A nice unassuming spot .. it looked closed as we had passed by it a few times (another time we were in Inistoige )but on our last few days we discovered it was open and went on 2 evenings.. friendly staff/ owner .. a really great pint of Guinness .. it’s old school pub from the 80’s but a real local place for a pint and the 2 nd night there was music on a Sat night … we were all happy out .. we were not aware if the served food .. toilets clean and prices good .. will pop in again when there again
