We recently had the good fortune to meet Alan and experience the amazing hospitality at the Otter when visiting on a 3 generational girls trip. The first night was a local potluck of sorts and we were invited to join. We didn’t have anything to share but that was no bother! The other patrons were also extremely friendly and so we went back for the music on Sunday. What talent! Complete with 3 pub dogs and good beer on tap, the Otter is not to be missed. We will surely recommend it to friends if they ar etraveling in the area and it’s also a good reason to to back to Ireland :)
Had the best time. Shoutout to Mia and her father. The Otter Bar was a highlight of my trip while traveling Ireland. We originally stopped in for a bite to eat but ended up getting take out delivered to the bar from another village. “The people of Inistioge are hungry!” I’ll cherish the memories. Spice bags and Sláinte!
