Gorgeous views, great jumping off location to explore some little villages along the coast, exceptional morning breakfast, the locals at the pub were fun to hang out with, and the bartender service at night was great.... Yet the room lacked cleanliness, there was no TV remote in the room, and the way we were charged for the room created confusion and a double charge for a time.
For some reason.. if you book via hotels.com or some other web portal. The owner will charge you separate when you arrive, and then cancel the payment you made online. This caused me to have two identical charges on my card for a few days. In the end it was resolved.... but I spent a good amount of time during my vacation dealing with customer service and the owner. I believe the owner does this to avoid any commission online portals may get for booking the room.
If you decide to stay here, do not pre-pay via a web portal like hotels.com or expedia, just select "pay at hotel" and you should be fine.
Given the price and location, I would 100% stay here again. Yet the double charge situation left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Nearest option to where I was staying for food. I was in desperate need of a good hot meal and I got one.
Not the greatest of atmospheres but perfectly satisfactory for my needs. The only place I saw Guinness, Beamish and Murphys on the same bar. Friendly staff.
