We didn't have a reservation, but we're given a table for two fairly quick. Hands down THE BEST fish meal I've ever had! The Baked hake was superb. the staff was beyond friendly, and try the tiramisu for dessert

A MUST visit on any tour of the Mayo coast. Paddy Coynes, a family own business through generations, wreaks of exceptional character and serves exceptional food. Located in a scenic seaside location, it stands out as a great place to visit for a bite. Jack Duffy, the resident chef has a simple approach in that he uses only incredibly fresh and local produce. For example he sources all his fish from one fisherman and the menu alters according to the catch. Of course he and the team then work their magic on the source material and this is when the real story begins. Take a detour if you must, this is worth every mile of it.

Great!! Delicious and refined cuisine! Fresh and local products. (We admit to being happy to finally have fish and chips or any other breaded fish). Warm and typical decor. Very warm welcome and great offer for children who can choose any dish and will be served half. A very very good address, in any case for us the best restaurant in Ireland during our holidays :)

Very nice pub, with very good food

i was impressed that there was more than one vegetarian option on the menu! i asked my server for a recommendation and unfortunately the pasta was a bit meh. i was glad to have such a big meal with vegetables in it bc usually vegetarian in rural ireland is soup and chips. there were a few pieces of meat in the pasta so not sure what happened there. only about a teaspoon’s worth in total but still it wasn’t a pleasant surprise.

We enjoyed a lovely meal last night (we were lucky we had booked it). The staff were very sweet and helpful with decision making. My partner had sirloin and I had the soup then chicken with Cabbage.
