Fantastic atmospheric pub for a beer or cider. But in the restaurant geddede you can eat delicious fish dishes but also meat. We had lobster with scallops absolutely wonderful with a bottle of sauvignon blanc. Toppie😇

Paddy Coynes is like a Tardis. Gorgeous looking little pub from the front. You walk through a lovely little bar to the eating area out the back, not huge but really nice, and the food, it's unreal. We got a recommendation from a lovely local lady down at Tully Pier, and she was spot on. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the fish tacos😋and the pint of Guinness, mothers milk, was outstanding. Have to drink and eat here if in Connemara, Letterfrack area.

Very good pub, the lamb burger was excellent! The idea of ​​mixing scallops with black pudding seemed daring to me, but it paid off. Definitely a good culinary address.

After a week in ireland this place had the most amazing food we had tasted all week, the atmosphere was fun and the people couldnt have been friendly, thank you for such a wonderful evening on our last day in your beautiful country xx

One of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Phenomenal food, extremely friendly staff and wonderful pints of Guinness. If you are anywhere near Patty Coynes you owe it to yourself to come here.

14/07/2025: Probably in top three pubs in Waterford city for a pint of Guinness. Arguably no.1.. Enough said.
25/06/2025: 4 of us from Texas stopped in at Andy’s last week to rest our bones and to cut the trail dust from our throats, and we couldn’t have found a better place in Waterford. The Guinness was cold and Andy’s heart was warm to this group of strangers. While in the bar, I felt like I had stepped bark 40 years, and Andy’s knowledge of the history of the area was amazing and interesting. I wished we could have stayed a bit longer, but the long road was calling. If ever in your neck of the woods, I’ll be sure to stop in and say Howdy Friend!
