Waterford Marina Hotel in Waterford

Lovely hotel but room to improve. Location is brilliant, staff are lovely. Decor is really nice. There were a lot of spiders, in bedroom, Bar and the outdoor seating area has a lot. Room size was great, really loved the river view. The bed was a little hard but fine. Fan in the room for the hot weather, we had to leave the window open all night and woke up to seagulls which I didn't mind. Food was lovely, had the salmon with veg, it was very well cooked. The cocktails are really good. I was given a glass with someone else's lipstick stain on it but they changed it for me.

Got married here and I could not be happier with the night. The food was excellent. Usually wedding food isn't great, but this was absolutely not the case here. The starter and mains were loved by everyone. All but one of the dishes on the whole menu were gluten free also, we had a few celiacs so it was nice that they had plenty to choose from. Special thank you to Chris for his incredible work in helping the day go smoothly. He was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend

A great location, right on the water and within easy walking distance of all the attractions in the Viking triangle. Good food in the bar downstairs.

A welcoming hotel with beautiful river views, an ideal location, and exceptional staff. We recently stayed at The Waterford Marina Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The first thing that stands out is the setting — the views across the river are genuinely lovely, especially in the early morning and evening when the light hits the water. It gives the whole place a calm, relaxed atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The location is another major plus. Being so close to the city centre meant we could walk everywhere with ease, whether it was sightseeing, grabbing a coffee, or exploring the local history. It’s the perfect base for anyone wanting convenience without sacrificing a peaceful setting. What really made the stay memorable, though, was the staff. Both the restaurant team with Amanda helping find us a table, and the front desk were terrific — friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was offering recommendations, checking in on us during meals, or simply greeting us with a smile, they made us feel completely at home. Don’t be dismayed by some of the pictures of the rear entrance via the car park, the main entrance is stunning. Overall, The Waterford Marina Hotel combines comfort, great views, and outstanding service. It’s a place I’d happily return to and one I’d recommend to anyone visiting Waterford.

This hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the city center, that is a plus. Staff is very friendly and helpful, also a big plus. The rooms have no air-conditioning so if you have a room in the back, above the parking lot, a lot of noise from cars, the kitchen and the music from weddings that take place inside that is a minus

Lovely hotel. Everything and everywhere was very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. Liked the decor throughout the hotel, very fresh and modern. Bedroom was a good size and well decorated. Liked the coffee machine and that there was also a kettle. Breakfast was great, a good selection available. Gluten free bread was available on request. About a ten minute walk to the main shopping area.
