Paddy Coyne’s Pub in Waterford

Beautiful Irish pub full of history and good craic. Would recommend to anyone passing by the area to stop off for a pint! Bartender was brilliant too! Shoutout to him!

Absolutely amazing old pub with truly outstanding food. The langoustines and scallops we had were on another level. I haven’t had seafood this good anywhere else in Ireland. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try some of their meat dishes in the future.

A very nice pub and, above all, an excellent restaurant if you want to try fresh Irish seafood. The oysters and salmon are excellent.

We had such a wonderful evening here. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional, making it the perfect spot to relax. The food was absolutely outstanding, especially the fish served on that lovely plate shaped like a fish. Every dish looked like a work of art and tasted just as good. We finished our night with a pint of Guinness and a few hands of cards at the table. We cannot wait to come back.

Monkfish was magnificent! Obviously a great chef in the kitchen! Lovely, genuine, attentive staff. A warm welcome by owner Gerry, who made sure that even my mother, an exceptionally fussy eater, was happy!

We stopped in and asked to have only beers and desserts, and we were very kindly accommodated. The desserts were very good, though slightly above average in price, and the beers and ciders were excellent. The atmosphere was very refined, and the restaurant area was particularly beautiful. It's a typical, intimate pub.

Thank you ever so much to all the staff, for letting me and the wedding posse come in there last Friday 22/05/2026. It was great fun to be able to pull a pint and share lots of moments of laughter. Your pub is lovely, a true gem of a place. Regards Aine & Aaron
