Fun drinks in the quiet whiskey snug upstairs. Our bartender was enjoying the customers as much as working so service was a little slower.

Great pub in the heart of Dublin.

The best pub in the Temple bar area by a country mile. It's bit pricey, but not as bad as some of the main Temple Bar spots and much better. Pub is 200 years old, there's the downstairs bar with a whiskey saloon bar upstairs. 3 different types of stouts on tap. Any would be up there with being the best stout in Temple Bar. They do Guinness and Beamish, and they do their own branded stout. "Changing Times Brewery Clockwork stout," which is very good indeed. They do a lager and IPA, but why bother with that when there's sweet, sublime stout? I stuck with the Clockwork stout when I started drinking it, and I'm normally a Guinness man through and through, make of that what you will. I've been drinking here 30 odd years, and it's always great craic with tourists and locals feeding the footfall for the pub. Visit upstairs and downstairs for the different vibes, though, be advised upstairs is only accessible by a long set of stairs. No food, a gastropub it is not. Again, in my opinion, probably the best pub in the Temple Bar area.

Vimos The Palace en el programa de televisión relacionado con la cocina que solía ver cuando tenía 17 años en 2021, que es City Bakes de Paul Hollywood, así que siempre quise probarlo al igual que Paul Hollywood hizo en el episodio de City Bakes de Paul Hollywood, y estábamos felices de que lo hiciéramos. Precioso pub con áreas seccionadas - fuera en el bar para 3 - 4 asientos. Fui a este pub en Dublín en febrero de 2023 el año pasado solo para tomar una copa después de un largo paseo por Dublín y justo antes de ir al museo Guinness. Gran selección de whiskys irlandeses. Buen personal. Un pub verdaderamente clásico.
