Pandini's in Dublin

Me and my partner are visiting Ireland and stayed at the Maldron Hotel, we decided to try out Pandini's for lunch on our last day and I wish we came sooner! Great service, friendly staff and good wait time for the food even though it was busy on a Saturday lunch time. If you're around the area I would highly recommend the food. I had the carbonara and my partner had the lasagne and the portion sizes were great too. Way better than what you get in your restaurants in the UK.

We visited this restaurant for father's day and I will be honest it's thin on the plus points. We arrived a few minutes before our appointment and the outside can be a bit deceiving as you can't see inside it doesn't look busy. But when we went inside there was a decent crowd there for the time of day so it created a good ambience. We walked up to the reception point but for some reason we were left standing there for several minutes even though there was 4staff members standing on the other side. No one even acknowledged our presence it was a very odd exchange. Eventually we were shown to our table but the table service was very slow throughout. No one even asked us what drinks we wanted I had to ask for the round. Some glasses we had to change as there was lipstick marks still on the glasses. We thought the food was just OK. We ordered different starters and mains. The pesto pasta was very overpowering in taste and really wet compared to the spaghetti bolognese that was dry. The chip portion we ordered was far too greasy.

The food was spectacular! Was packed but didn't have to wait for a table. Service was great and staff were very nice.

Lovely food and a great range of choices on the menu. Always tasty and the staff are so friendly too

We're fairly frequent diners here and our most recent visit was a little disappointing. Sad, because we've recommended Pandinis to lots of people, won't be doing that again! So most of our meals were lovely, except for the Linguini Frutti di Mare which was rubbery and didn't seem fresh. Staff were competent but lacked any charm and seemed very disinterested. Lastly, the menu here has not changed in *years*. It needs to be shaken up a bit!

We had a lovely meal in Pandinis. The food & staff were excellent as always. We have dined since Pandinis first opened and we have never been disappointed.

I've just come home from having a meal with 3 friends in this restaurant and we didn't have a great experience. We didn't book a table but they fit us in as it was busy but told us they needed the table back by 6pm which was no problem for us. Our order was taken by a young server who really didn't have good English and he confused us beyond belief, he asked if we wanted everything together and we presumed the bill so said yes but he meant to food & as a result all the starters and mains came out at the same time which was ridiculous. When I started to explain we didn't want everything together I got a very rude reply from someone I presume was a manager, I then queried if there was chicken added into my pasta and the guy shouted there is chicken. Our mains were left there even though I asked for them to be taken back & served after starters so our food was cold when we ate it. Common sense would should prevail in restaurant that you would think they know how to serve food. The server couldn't speak correct English and others servers were pure rude & it took away from our dining experience. I won't be going back anytime soon !
