Where everyone's a local.
Stopped off this time in anascual and I have to say I was delighted I did.
From entering Patcheens Bar I knew it was the right place. The big welcome, the ease of ordering was great, Food was excellent, large portions and very fresh and it is a Lovely cosy bar.
The reason id say where everyone's a local is because of Amy, the bar person / waitress / nice person. She was above excellent with the people that came in and great to see staff welcome the locals by name. She never met me before but she just chatted away as if I was a local.
I Would highly recommend.

A very cozy, beautiful bar with super friendly service, delicious vegetarian options, and a good selection of wine alongside local beer. Definitely worth a stop!

Didn't eat, just called in for a night cap. Service was efficient and prompt. It a locals pub so I didn't chat but that was my choice.

When we headed out for dinner we intended on going to a different restaurant in town that is super popular with tourists. Happened by Patcheens on our way and made the last minute decision to go here instead. And oh my, I’m so glad we did. Service was fantastic, food came out quick, and it was absolutely delicious. We had the calamari starter, the Kerry burger, and the cottage pie- YUM! Everyone was friendly and the banter by the locals at the bar was an absolute hoot to listen to. Thanks Patcheens for the fabulous dinner to end a wonderful day on The Dingle Way.

We happened in on a night when the South Pole Inn was closed for a menu change. In spite of the place being understaffed, the young and beautiful Aimee put on a brave face and hosted the entire pub like a seasoned veteran. The pizza was worth the wait and the camaraderie with the other patrons was lovely. Absolutely recommend.

Lovely get together in a nice setting. The group was very pleased with the chicken tender and chips, pizza, and the cottage pie. Myself being a coeliac ( gluten free) had goats cheese salad and a pizza, toppings substituted to suite. The cottage pie was also gluten free. Choice of two delicious deserts, gluten free brownie being one option and it was lovely.

We went the Dingle Way. Had a great evening in this pub. Very busy. Good drink selection. Vegetarian selection expandable. But just a great experience!
