Peas Bistro in Waterford

Food and service is always amazing- the staff are so lovely and the pancakes are some of the best that I’ve had. I always have a good experience with the waitresses and they seem to have great relationships with the locals/ regulars. I have to say though, for the second time now, I’ve noticed the man who I assume is the manager/ head chef talking down to the staff and being rude to them. Could be just that he’s busy or I’m catching him at a bad moment but it definitely sets a bad tone for customers to overhear and get the impression that staff aren’t being treated right- especially given the great job they’re doing!

Great food and friendly service

Food was tasty but the portion could be more generous. I can recommend the eggs. Florentine. Service is on the slow side, about 25 minutes for a single dish. Also, the final price was €0.25 more than advertised on the menu, couldn't be bothered to argue but staff can be better trained. Atmosphere is so so because the door constantly brings in cold air. It looks like they have a heater above the door. Why don't they turn it on?

Lovely little spot hidden in beside SuperValu. Really good food and staff are lovely. Definitely recommend if looking for somewhere for a catch up coffee or nice lunch.

Regular here in Rea's. Can't decide a favourite as all the food is so good. What I especially like is that its made fresh. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Allow time for food as its made fresh to order.

Great little spot for an un-fussy breakfast/ brunch/ lunch. Great Irish breakfast, breakfast quesadilla awesome. It’s a small spot, can get a bit packed at peak times and service speed can drop a bit, keep that in mind.

Dunno what happened but few years ago I was always recommended pancakes here and now my friends and I went there and we’re a bit disappointed that pancakes got so flat and even undercooked (my friend didn’t finished his pancakes). The girl that took our order seemed to had a hard day and wasn’t very welcoming tbh but that can happen. Don’t think I will recommend pancakes here again for a while, Alma has the best if you ask me. Hope they can go back to to the good old times soon 🙂 best wishes
