Absolutely the best Bacon and Cabbage on the Island

Wow, how to begin. The versatility, the charm, the service, Peggy’s Bar and Restaurant truly has it all. There’s a reason it’s often dubbed “The Swiss Army Knife of Restaurants” by those in the local area. Truly worth a visit, your tastebuds will never forgive you if you don’t!

Top-notch pub. Discovered it because we were staying nearby. We went there for dinner two nights. The dishes are elaborate and delicious. A little more expensive than other places, but it's well worth it. And the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

This place was recommended to us, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, and the service was excellent. Recommended.

Lovely Sunday lunch with friends. Lovely menu, great choice on menu of starters and mains and deserts were lovely. Reasonably price too. I am very happy with our visit. I would recommend it to friends and family . Well done a gem in Galway for food .

Atmosphere: The place is clean and tidy. It does have a large corporate vibe to it. I noticed a place called Leonard’s Catering owns several restaurants in the area. Staff: The staff was very friendly and attentive. They checked on us several times. After we finished it did take a while to get our check. It then took some time to find out we needed to head to the bar to pay with a card. One star off for this. Warm Chicken Caesar Salad: Lettuce tasted fresh, thick slices of bacon were well cooked. The tiny croutons were very crunchy. The dressing was creamy, but still lite. The chicken was well seasoned, and had a charred taste to them. The chicken portion size was generous. Chicken Linguini: The chicken tasted great and the perfect size portion. The linguini was very tasty. The garlic bread tasted fresh and had good flavor. Fisherman’s Pie: Good amount of seafood. The sauce was nice and creamy. The spinach was a great add. There was a large portion of mashed potatoes. It was all finished off oven baked. Very good.
