"Peggy's restaurant is a delightful dining experience! The warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with top-notch service, made our visit truly enjoyable. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, all cooked to perfection and generously portioned. We were especially impressed with how child-friendly the restaurant was, ensuring our little ones felt right at home. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and highly recommend Peggy's restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food in a welcoming environment. Five stars!"

The breakfast is first class. Go for the Maxi breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Definitely will be back for another visit.

Arrived at 11:50. Told that they don't serve lunch until 12:10. We could have waited but we weren't even offered a lunch menu. We could only look at breakfast.

My husband and I went to Peggy's Tuesday 3 September and it was so good we went back on Thursday. The food was absolutely delicious with massive portions, so definitely didn't go hungry. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. We also wanted to give a special mention to Maureen who was very funny and friendly. Just need you to open up a restaurant in Birmingham and I'll be very happy.

Lovely restaurant with good service and great food. We highly recommend the lamb shank and fish pie. It was great to see a long list of kids sized portions instead of chicken fingers and pizza.

10/11/2024: Had a delicious breakfast there this morning. Staff are lovely. Really spacious. Spotlessly clean. Will be back.
01/11/2024: Absolutely adorable little cafè. Olde world charm amidst a backdrop of lush green fields, forestry and mountains. Beautifully Irish captured in time. One could travel the world over and would be hard pressed to find a gem like this. Pure class. ♥️

02/10/2024: Stunning, stunning, stunning! I was expecting a rather expensive experience here but, to my surprise myself and my wife had a beautiful lunch of toasted venison sandwiches with relish as well as gorgeous bowls of soup. The staff were truly beautiful people who couldn't do enough for us and we even made several purchases in the gift shop! Something I very, very rarely do. My only complaint is that it's so far away from where I live! If it weren't I would most definitely be a very regular customer. I can only hope that we get the opportunity to revisit at some stage. Go raibh mĂ­le mĂ­le math agaibh to all at Ballymaloe. P.
