The Sevice & the Food was amazing!

We came across this little gem of a restaurant on our first night in Kilkenny. Coming in, I couldn’t help but notice how well kept and stylish the room was. We were quickly welcomed by a friendly face and seated immediately after. We were quick to choose sides and main dishes - Trout and Carbonara Schnitzel (yes, I KNOW). And it would be an understatement to say they were amazing. Ana, our waiter, made this whole experience even better. When she found out it’s our first time and night in Kilkenny, she gave us tips and ideas of what we can see and do. Besides that, she was very attentive, so we never had this “trying to make eye contact with the waiter” experience, haha. Would definitely visit again.

The best place ever. The service was amazing, Ana was incredible. I had the carbonara schnitzel and it got me thinking wether i should move here. We also had trout, hashbrowns and fries. We genuinely love this place. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic new menu. Had the trout, cauliflower and almond, my partner had the carbonara chicken schnitzel. Delicious! We both had truffle hash browns… to die for!!! Eva the waitress was fantastic.

A very welcoming place with friendly staff (including Italians). Unfortunately, as with many Irish establishments, dining after 8 pm wasn't the best option. Two slices of bread with tomato, a mediocre beer, and a jug of water cost €30. You'll find better options, but plan ahead.

A good friend brought me here for a bite to eat after a castle jaunt. We both chose the Statham's signature lunch: half sandwich (we both opted for Christmas) with soup (carrot and ginger on the day!) and sweet treat (brownie topped with biscuit crumble) for €13.50 each. All very tasty, good value and portion size. I had a cappuccino for circa €4. We both enjoyed people watching by the window and the relaxed atmosphere here as we were hurried in no way. Recommended if in Kilkenny. I will return.

Met a friend here for lunch and had a great experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. We tried the lunch special - a small sandwich with a side of soup and a sweet treat, which were all great. We’ll definitely be back!
