We were fortunate to be able to dine here while spending the night at the Pembroke Hotel. Our dinner was amazing, as was the service, and everyone loved the dessert options as well. We went to the hotel’s bar for drinks afterwards and had an absolutely perfect experience.

Overall a good experience. Food was tasty but the chips (fries) were right out of a frozen bag. For the cost and scale of this place hand cut chips would have been more appealing also they were cold to make matters worse. Staff were excellent, super nice and polite. Seats and table were lovely and comfortable. I would go back again and would recommend the steak.

This was by far the best meal I have eaten in a very long time ! If you take a trip to Kilkenny you must visit the Statham‘s by Pembroke it is so worth it!

The best meal in a long time. Magnificent cuisine with fantastic dishes. Buttery soft ox cheeks - gnocchi...a taste experience - pork with a crust and a delicate jus. For me, the number one in Kilkenny. 😍

Oh my giddy aunt- I would actually put this meal in the Top 5 meals I've had so far in my life. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms or anything with that texture, however I love anything pasta-like and Italian, which includes gnocchi. Holy mother of God, I've never tasted anything like the mushroom ragu with crispy gnocchi. The crispy gnocchi was divine, I have no words and 400 words to describe this dish! I can't stop talking or thinking about it! The flavours were beautiful. I would consider myself a fast eater but despite how hungry I was, I managed to slow down and savour every bite because I didn't want the bowl to empty! I have eaten in Statham's several times before, mainly for lunch/brunch and they have been delicious. I particularly chose Statham's on this occasion to get my friend to try the hash browns as a side but I was well and truly blown away by this main! I hope it never leaves the menu, I will be so upset if it does! Aside from my very obvious grá for this dish- the staff were fantastic, it was the Saturday of a busy Paddy's weekend, after the Six Nations match. They were so fab whenever we needed assistance and gave a great wine pairing for the dish- so much so, we had to take a picture of the bottle for future reference! All round 10/10 experience, I love Statham's and always recommend it to friends!

Saint Patrick afternoon Stathams was exceptionally busy however floor team & waiting staff were so helpful to find extra seats . Menu was compact but plenty of choice order was taken promptly and food arrived in excellent time . Both dishes were superb and so fresh Cod and stew . We will be back

Always welcoming staff and great for breakfast, gluten free options a great bonus. They do groups so lovely for events.
