Peninsula Restaurant in Buncrana

We had a fabulous stay. Room was comfortable. Staff were awesome. Weather was winter. We will get on the famous beach next time.

Good hotel. We had a "superior" room with good views over the Lough and golf course. This is worth paying the extra for, in my opinion. Clean well maintained rooms although a little worn and old fashioned. Staff efficient and helpful.

A great stay, with some of the friendliest staff, from the minute i walked in the door, reception, the bar staff, and those serving at the event later. Also met some of the staff the next morning too. They are an absolute credit to you. Very friendly and helpful, and not afraid of a bit of craic. They made it a very enjoyable stay.

We had our wedding here and had the absolute best day!!! Sinead and her whole team were excellent through the entire process. We live in Boston, but my husband is from the area. We were limited in our time in town before the wedding and could not have pulled it off without the help of Sinead. The wedding went off so smoothly and was truly everything we could have hoped for and more! Sinead and her team were very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly during the planning process and on the day. She even recommended local vendors for other services for the wedding which was very important since I was unfamiliar with the vendors in the area. The venue is stunning with beautiful views and well kept rooms. The food was outstanding and by far the best I've ever had at a wedding. Overall, I highly recommend the Inishowen Gateway Hotel for your wedding or just a nice vacation if you are in the area. 10/10!!!

Great value hotel and great location for a short walk into buncrana.

Have had the best few days in this lovely hotel. The service was second to none and the food was lovely. Will definitely be back 🍀
