Food seems to have really gone downhill in the last year. Bolognese has no flavour the last 3 times we've gotten it (just taste liked fried mince with no seasoning). Disappointing you can no longer choose your pasta type.

We called into the peppermill restaurant on our way home from Kildare they were busy but Robert took us across the road to pepes restaurant and got us a table there. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Robert came back to check we were OK. The food was fantastic and we had a very enjoyable night. We will be back

I had the Truffle Linguine, I'm sure I tasted Parmesan in the dish to be honest which I didn't like because Parmesan cheese isn't Vegetarian and I did ask the person serving us if the dish was suitable. It would be nice if the menu stated which dishes are suitable. I would like to try other dishes so I will definitely be going back. The food was lovely in general and the staff are very friendly.

Lasagna included a small bit of salad and some garlic bread— when it came out of the kitchen I initially thought it was a small portion but it was a LOT of food! Delicious slow food that I would happily order again.

We had a going away party for a colleague - 12 of us. The service was genuinely wonderful. Really welcoming and accommodating. Turnaround time on the food was really snappy and it was delicious. Really made it a special evening. Thanks Pepes!

We had a very pleasant pre-theatre experience in Pepe's. It has a nice buzzy atmosphere but not too noisy. The service was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice with a reasonably priced food and drinks menu.

10/12/2025: Excellent shop & owner... we went in & ordered 4 cheese burgers at only 3 Euros each. Unfortunately, the shop accept only cash. We struggled to pay as we only had cards. The owner said, it is ok, the burgers were on the house. He also threw in pizza with total cost of around 25 Euro - all free of charge. My children gobbled the food. We left the shop with tears in our eyes & warmth in our stomachs at the kindness shown to total strangers from Asia.
04/12/2025: Best pizza in Nenagh, hands down and honestly one of the best in all of Ireland. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding: the tomato sauce comes straight from Italy, and the dough is absolute perfection. I’ve tried the chips many times as well, and they’re always delicious. Whether you live in Nenagh or are just passing through, this place is a must-try. Grazie to Flavio and all the staff for the consistently great service!
