Peploe's in Dublin

I have mixed feelings. The food was tasty. Not outstanding, but really tasty. It's a shame it was difficult to find on a large plate, as the portions were miniscule. The service, however, was truly poor. The only smiling person was the woman who took our coats. The rest of the staff were difficult to even recognize, as they showed a complete lack of interest in us. I don't even know who our waiter was, because we simply had to catch the one we happened to see and get their attention. I left the restaurant hungry and disappointed, despite the delicious food.

Great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. Went here for my birthday 🎂 the big five 50. Need i say is really enjoyed, the food was absolutely lovely i could mot find anything to fault on. I would definitely recommend this restaurant 👌🏿

I LOVE coming to Peploes... for the beautiful, well- executed food & the fantastic wine list. Maybe, most of all, I love Peploe's for the atmosphere. Buzzy, warm, friendly, good- hearted. I always come away in a great mood. The wait staff are highly personable and very skilled. Front of house are terrific, and the food matches the fantastic atmosphere. It is our go-to restaurant where we take our favourite people. Tonight, we brought an Aussie aunt & uncle there. After 3 weeks of touring - they said it was the best food they'd had in Ireland. And they are big food & wine fans. The wine is always at just the right temperature & served in perfect glassware. Full disclosure: we do know someone working in the kitchen. But honestly, looking at the happy faces all round this evening, everyone is warmly welcomed and well-looked after, whether it's your first or 50th visit. Gorgeous experience again - thank you Peploe's.

We had a gorgeous lunch in Peploes yesterday. Food and service were excellent. Recommend the tiramisu martini for dessert.

What a fabulous restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly as one member of our party was in a wheelchair. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I would highly recommend a visit. The lunchtime 3 course set menu gave plenty of choice and was reasonably priced. Peploe’s for a wonderful lunch! X

Myself and my boyfriend had booked in for lunch last saturday. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we stepped into the place. The hostess was very friendly, greeted us by name and seated us instantly. Service from all the staff was excellent, and we were served in a timely manner. The food was amazing, and we both really enjoyed our meal! I highly reccomend the Chicken Milanese. We will be back and reccomending to our friends and family. Thank you again to all the staff!

This is a great little spot, found via the Michelin guide. The food was all good, with the pastas being definitely our favourite courses. Service was friendly and pleasant, with one star subtracted just because our desserts took about 25 minutes to arrive, which is far too long; and it took a while to pay and be on our way. Otherwise great!

Exceptional service and food. It's a must try if you're visiting Dublin.

I have visited Peploe's many times and the service, food and premises are always excellent. I had to move a booking from 8.30pm to 9pm last weekend due to a taxi being 45mins late. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for more. After arriving flustered, I was made feel at home and the service was so good and friendly that I was put at my ease and turned a potentially stressful evening it to on of the nicest I have had in a long time. Thank you to all at Peploe's.
