PHX Bistro in Dublin

It was really good! We were a big group and we got a table. The food was really amazing. The service was friendly and funny.

My boyfriend and I decided to visit Dublin for my birthday this year. We hadn’t made any plans for dinner, but when we looked at Google maps and noticed this restaurant nearby, we walked past to see if we could get a reservation. Fortunately, they managed to accommodate us with an early table and we were so happy we snagged it! We took advantage of their three course set menu which allows you to choose a starter, main course and desert from the à la carte menu - all for less than 40 Euros. We both enjoyed the delicious duck liver parfait starter, and were in absolute raptures over the steaks (we chose both kinds on the menu). Honestly two of the best steaks ever - and as expat South Africans, we can be rather snooty about meat. Massive kudos to Chef Shammy! Our desserts, prepared by trainee chef Eve, were a fitting finale to a delicious meal. I challenge anyone to find a better classic crème brûlée. To make the whole occasion even more memorable and enjoyable, we were lucky enough to be served by Katelyn, who was both entertaining and attentive. Nice friendly staff, the food and wine was excellent.

Cute place. Personal service. Calm vibe. Great for visitors. 2 or 3 course meals available. Everything was an elevated experience. We did a 3 course meal. Soup, main, dessert. The mushroom risotto was perfect. Garlic soup is my new favorite, with a side of sourdough and a big slab of butter. Carrot cake was lovely. The cheese platter was also nice . Tawny port put everything over the top. We spent about 50 each.

PHX Bistro was a great experience. I was part of a group of five men out on a stag night on 27/4/24. The food was great our group had 2 coarses consisting of starters: chicken hot wings, Prawns with garlic and chilli and garlic bread. Mains we had: pork belly, steak and hake with mash and truffle mash. Everyone in our group loved their meals and the staff were very friendly and tentative but" not annoyingly" Fantastic meal out at a decent price pp. Great atmosphere would highly recommend this restaurant. My brother had a coulpe of glasses of the house shiraz and said it was good also. Thanks for a great dinner 👍

Excellent place to eat and super attention.

Delicious food and friendly, discreet staff. The burgers are delicious, a must try.
