The most expensive cake and coffee I've ever had 4 x cakes (2 brownies and 2 carrot cake) and 4 x coffees came to €55!! The sign on the front door said 'coffee & cake €10'. Too expensive for what it was. Shame because the restaurant is a lovely little place.

Really enjoyed this bistro. Not far from our hotel it offered an uplifted version of many standard dishes. Serving sizes are large and priced very reasonable

We stumbled upon this restaurant accidentally and fell in love with their fish & chips! Their 3 course meal is quite the deal with having carrot and ginger soup for our appetizers, fresh haddock and chips for our main, and a gluten free chocolate and peanut butter brownie with vanilla ice cream to top it all off! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a “local spot off the beaten path”.

My fish was delicious with an excellent sauce on it. The potatoes and green beans that came with it were undercooked and under flavored, and the light sauce for the fish didn’t help the potatoes. The desert (pear and berry tart) was amazing.

02/04/2024: Excellent service. The food was very tasty from starter to dessert. Great atmosphere we were celebrating a birthday.
22/02/2024: We had our intimate dinner party post civil ceremony last night. From the moment we enquired until the special day itself, we felt very satisfied with the impeccable service they gave. Carmel very kindly showed us the Scott Tallon room and it is just perfect for private parties like ours. The ambiance was very classy. Dominic attended to our every need during the dinner and he made sure everybody is happy that evening. Highly recommendable! I didn’t get the names of all the other staff but everybody was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great! We were so full by the end of the night.
