A great view of the bay from most windows. Seating available in a Friday at 2PM. We got seafood chowder which was nice and creamy and had a good amount of seafood. Nice flavor too. That comes with bread, both brown and white and butter. Also ordered some battered mushrooms which came with salad, was so so. Service was good until it was time to checkout we had to chase them down lol. It was packed, you think they'd want us out but no rush so. Dinner menu looked pretty good too.

A good restaurant, a welcoming space, and attentive, fast service. Good food. Prices aren't cheap, but that's worth considering, considering we're talking about fish.

Beautiful restaurant at the harbour of Kinvara. The service is friendly and quite fast. The food is very delicious and of high quality. In addition, the plates looks really great when served and the price of the food was very reasonable as well!

We came here when staying close by and after a day out exploring. We hadn’t booked but they were able to seat us in the bar area. Would recommended the Thai Steamed Seafood Pot. Lovely setting.
This is a lovely restaurant with fabulous sea views. We were glad that we had booked, it was packed on a Saturday night.
It very much has a nautical theme with lots of bits and bobs strewn around the place. We were seated in the larger of the downstairs rooms in a fabulous window table.
We shared mussels to start, a very generous portion, we both had the sea bass fillets for our mains served with a delectable white wine sauce, we chose jacket potato and salad as our accompaniments, it was so good, the fish perfectly cooked and again a generous portion. Whilst we absolutely didn’t need it, we shared the most delicious pavlova, a huge portion. There’s one thing for sure you won’t leave the Pier Head hungry.
Great location, food, service and a very reasonable bill. What’s not to like?
Highly recommended.
