Pier Head in Kinvara

The location is stunning: facing the harbor and with a great atmosphere inside (interrupted only by the usual loud chatter of the Americans). The wait times are a little longer than average, probably because when you order a dish, they start from scratch (and that's a guarantee). In fact, the quality is impeccable! The service is really good. We had booked, and when we arrived, our table was already ready with the lights on...chapeau! Recommended.

A great view of the bay from most windows. Seating available in a Friday at 2PM. We got seafood chowder which was nice and creamy and had a good amount of seafood. Nice flavor too. That comes with bread, both brown and white and butter. Also ordered some battered mushrooms which came with salad, was so so. Service was good until it was time to checkout we had to chase them down lol. It was packed, you think they'd want us out but no rush so. Dinner menu looked pretty good too.

Very fine restaurant with a small menu and delicious fish and meat dishes.

We came here when staying close by and after a day out exploring. We hadn’t booked but they were able to seat us in the bar area. Would recommended the Thai Steamed Seafood Pot. Lovely setting.

Nice location, good food and great staff. Would highly recommend for lunch. Mussels are incredible. Fresh fish and Irish lamb very good as well.
