Pigeon House in Greystones

We turned up without a booking for Sunday lunch and they fitted us in. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent - they went above and beyond to accommodate us as one person is dairy intolerant. It’s a really nice and friendly venue.

Great find after a long trekking session In Wicklow. We took two shakshouka’s and it was delish - everything on the menu was tempting, I can’t wait to go for round 2! Highly recommend it!

We rang ahead to make sure we got a table. When we arrived it looked fairly full and everyone was eating. Always a good sign. We we seated and given menus. I have to say that I was pleased to see plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans with a very flexible menu and a really lovely girl who was taking our order. We were able to alter the meals to suit our taste. When the food came it was presented really beautifully on the plate and it was a really generous size also. The chef managed to get so many wonderful flavours onto the plate. My tastebuds were literally dancing in my mouth. We Will be back very soon. The nicest food I have been served in such a long time. Raging I didn't get our servers name because she was so nice also. I'd have liked to give her a mention too. Not too expensive either.

This has become a regular. We've been very happy with the service and the food!

I've been here twice after visiting for the first time with my cousin and it was really good on both occasions. The atmosphere is very relaxed which is great for diners and unlike other restaurants, each item on the menu is delicious and you can taste it has been made fresh to order. It has become one of my favourite places to eat and I'll definitely be making more visits once I'm more local to the area. Really friendly service as well!

It's a comfortable setting to meet friends for coffee and great food

Came for brunch as a group of 3 adult friends. Good food and service, but felt out of place with all the young families, and self-conscious ordering alcohol. Still worth it though. Note they apply a mandatory 10% service charge on everything (it's written in small letters on the end of the menu, we missed it); would have given a generous tip, but that put us off.

This is a go-to place usually for the clan and I. But yesterday we had lunch there and it was not satisfactory. Over a hundred euro for 4 of us. No alcohol. My daughter had a goats cheese salad with poached pear (€18) and a lemonade (€4.50). This is poor value for money and it literally was a treasure hunt to find the goats cheese. Normally worth the travel to - I hope it does not lose its essence, and go the way of Avoca or The Vanilla Pod.

Pigeon House offers an okay dining experience. The ambiance is pleasant, and the menu has a variety of options. However, it would be greatly improved if they included more dietary-restricted choices for vegans and vegetarians. While the staff is friendly, addressing this gap in the menu would make it a more inclusive and appealing choice for a broader range of diners within the local community.
