Pinocchio in Dublin

Booked to celebrate a 40th birthday for 9 of us, they were accommodating for the booking just a few days before the event. Sadly that was where the pleasantries ended, the restaurant was very dark/dull which made the menu hard to read, I asked a couple of times if the battery operated lights could be replaced as no light was coming off them - this was ignored, drinks orders need chasing up/didn’t materialise, only a single small jug was offered for water. The food was ok, nothing special and was definitely overpriced. The toilets were dirty, had no toilet paper etc. despite it being early and the place practically empty. And no recognition of the celebratory occasion. I can’t say I’ll be recommending this place to anyone.

Very delicious pizza and very good service

Attentive and polite wait staff, food was absolutely delicious. Had a Napoli pizza that was as good as any I got in Italy. Great location, pleasant music that was at a volume that easily allowed conversation.

Good quality authentic Italian food, friendly service. A nice spot away from the bustle of Temple Bar.

Nice standard prices, good pizza, everything was good.

Four of us had dinner, some pasta dishes and a lasagna dish. I would say all of our dishes were good. but very average. Needed a bit more flavor, not a large serving and salad not included.

Conosco questo ristorante fin dalla sua precedente sede a ranelagh, e l’ho sempre considerato sopravvalutato. Pur godendo di buona fama nella comunità italofila di questa città, lo trovo un po’ scontato e grossolano. Sinceramente, a questo prezzo conviene fare un salto a Roma e mangiare una carbonara fatta bene. Se si trova un volo a buon prezzo, conviene senz’altro.
