Great little pub. Service excellent. Pints of stout excellent. A few lovely tunes playing in the corner. A real Dublin pub you must visit.

I can't comment on the food, but the beer is good. We went to the Piper because they're supposed to have good traditional music, and we weren't disappointed. The music was authentic, purely acoustic, and good: bandoneon, flute, fiddle, bodhran, and guitar. The pub was well-attended, mostly by locals, not tourists. I would come back anytime.

06/07/2025: I had the fish & chips special, which was delicious, along with a glass of cava. The two went great together. Also tried a mango / passion fruit tart, which was amazing! The place is cozy and the service is great. Had a lovely time!
04/07/2025: I saw the summer special for fish and chips and a glass of cava for €26 and decided to try it. The service from when we got there was great. We placed our order and the food was out in under 10 minutes. 2 cods were on the plate but I’d say the star of the dish was the tartar sauce never had anything like it and the fish was super crispy. 10/10 would recommend and the cava pairing worked really well!

26/04/2026: Fun and lovely atmosphere, a hint of a happy queer vibe, tasty food, beautiful presentation, and very reasonable prices. Brandon, our handsome 🤪 server, was quick, efficient, warm, and very friendly. Highly recommended!
14/04/2026: Amazing place. Cannot fault anything about here. So nice to pay less thsn 20 -25 euro for a meal and 10 euro for a drink like everywhere else in the centre. Staff were so nice and chatty for a change compared to other bars and restaurants we have been in!!! Food was excellent every dish we got from picks menu was so lovely and well prepared, drinks for €6 as well and lovely decor etc and service. Definitely be back and would recommend for anyone in Dublin to go to!!
