Lifeline after hours food stop last night after a long day setting up tents in Dublin with Stretch Tents Ireland. Banging pizza and nice staff. 🤟

The pizzas are between good and amazing, ample space in the back of the restaurant with a lot of tables and seating space. They lack advertisement for the option of sitting down instead of treating it like a basic takeaway. I've only discovered about the area when I was asking for the toilet and then later asked the staff is that area open for customers. Other than that I'm very happy with the food and treatment.

This was a very tasty pizza, a real taste of being home made, absolutely delicious. Will I be going here again ... for sure I will. The service was fantastic and could not be faulted. I was made feel very welcome. There is a large area out the back also which is great for family meals etc so a very useful place indeed. The place was very clean and tidy and overall very impressive. The people who work here are an absolute credit to themselves and their employers. The price was very reasonable also. I run a business myself and I have to say the Pizza Dog is a very well run business. Keep up the good work!

The Railway Inn

26/08/2025: Called in for a couple of beers whilst waiting for a train. Lovely traditional pub, good value and full of friendly locals.

J. P. Healy Pub

14/07/2025: Enjoyed my night in JP Healys. Great service. Enjoyed the pints and the Music. 🙂
26/06/2025: Stopped into this bar while passing through town. It has a very reserved atmosphere—quiet, low-key, and not much going on in terms of energy or crowd interaction. The staff were polite, though not overly warm or chatty, which might suit some looking for a more laid-back or unobtrusive experience. Drinks were reasonably priced and served without delay. It’s not the most lively spot, but it has a certain calm charm to it. If you’re after a peaceful pint and a bit of quiet, this place will do the trick.
