PJ Flaherty in Galway

Had to vote after seeing a review below because he's talking about three friends of mine. This was at 6pm and yes the lads are loud and full of craic. Insinuating they are on something else is an absolute disgrace. If you're no craic Tom, stay at home. Great pub and everyone is friendly...except for Tom

One of Galway's hidden gems, ita up for Sale, its got serious potential!

I was in the area for a while, but last weekend was my first time in PJ’s—and the taste of the Guinness alone is enough to bring me back! The bar staff were absolutely amazing. The guy with the beard clearly knows his craft—you can tell he has real experience pulling pints. It’s not often you see that old-school style of bartending these days, with all the Gen Z influence. Very cool pub, very cool staff, and even better Guinness. Highly recommend!

I came to Wicklow for hiking and met a few locals who recommended visiting the west of Ireland if I had the chance. So, I decided to explore Connemara, with my first stop in Galway. I ended up at PJ’s Bar, and I’m so glad I did! The girl behind the bar was incredibly polite—such a warm welcome, something you don’t see every day. The pint of Guinness was absolutely delish, one of the best I’ve had. If you’re in Galway, I highly recommend this pub!
