PJ Flaherty in Galway

As an American born "Flaherty," of course I look for any Irish pub called Flaherty's anywhere in the world. I have found them from Barcelona to Cusco, Peru and enjoyed them all, but PJ Flahertys is surely the original that set the standard. The atmosphere is charming, the staff delightful, and the Guiness is perfect. Even better, I was thrilled to meet the owner and fellow "Flaherty." To my Irish cousin, thank you for your warmth and hospitality. You were a highlight of the trip. I will be back to Ireland, Galway and PJ Flaherty's!

A neighborhood pub atmosphere with its regulars. Quiet because it's the beginning of the week.

Lovely Guinness and a great environment for all! Good pints and good laughs.

Had to vote after seeing a review below because he's talking about three friends of mine. This was at 6pm and yes the lads are loud and full of craic. Insinuating they are on something else is an absolute disgrace. If you're no craic Tom, stay at home. Great pub and everyone is friendly...except for Tom
