I drop into Pocono every 2/3 weeks on a regular trip from Donegal to Dublin with my daughter for a coffee and a sandwich and i must say that the sandwiches are top notch. ( made with McCloskey bread) The staff are very friendly and attentive and always have a smile. Glaslough is a peaceful detour on my journey and i get to enjoy a nice coffee and grub while passing through. Neville & Clodagh

Wonderful gem in the centre of glasslough, excellent display of fresh local produce made fresh to your requirements, fresh cakes on offer to chose from, staff helpful and friendly will definitely return when in the area.

Lovely little cafe to stop off for a cuppa, sausage roll and icecream. Its dog friendly too so gets Zoe's woof of approval.

Cafe/shop situated on the main street with a small dining area on the ground floor, seating upstairs and outside. Lots of staff working both areas. Orders were quickly taken, and the food was delivered to the table quickly. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the food tasty. We had arrived just after lunchtime so it was easy to find a table, this quickly changed and suddenly all tables were full once more. One strange thing was that the coffees were half full of the bean grindings, so beware ! Certainly worth a visit. We even had a delicious ice cream to take away.

Since we don’t eat red meat or pork, he carefully checked every detail of the menu, even down to the bread and butter, to ensure everything met our preferences. His dedication and attention to detail were so appreciated. The team at Snaffles is a real credit to Castle Leslie, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for a memorable evening!

Ambledown Cottage

04/08/2024: Top class place. The food is always unreal . Byob is a bonus and the setting is super.
14/07/2024: Best pizza ever in a cosy cottage, all nicely decorated. Theres no parking, everyone park the car nearby on the street, just be sure not to block or park too irregularly because the street is a 2 way narrow street.
