Poffs in Kenmare

We stopped into Poffs for a coffee and scone, both of which were delicious. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff very reasonable prices too .5star

Very nice atmosphere, lovely staff, fab food and very child friendly. After a not so great experience down the road earlier in the day, we were so happy to find this little gem.

Poffs is a tremendous find in Kenmare! I had the most delicious Eggs Benedict I’ve ever tasted. Excellent service. Tasty coffee. Enjoy it!

Pequeño lugar tranquilo que sirve desayuno y almuerzo. No dejes que el tamaño te engañe con los sabores sabrosos del paquete en sus platos. Allí la salsa pesto es increíble. Las porciones son correctas y el personal es amable.

Really the gem in Kenmare. We were allowed to study here, it wasn’t busy in the morning so the service was fast and friendly. The food portions were big enough and delicious. The music and ambience were great. Worth it to stop here for a cup of coffee

Great place! Staff were lovely. Eggs Benedict was as nice as I’ve ever had and pancakes were fantastic too!

Pedí el irlandés lleno con un huevo revuelto y me dijeron que no, que solo podía escalfarlo o freírlo, no revuelto. A mi modo de ver, si puedes freír un huevo, puedes revolverlo. Odio los huevos escalfados y fritos, pero si quería el irlandés completo no tenía otra opción... así que fui con el frito, y mi esposa se lo comió. Tal vez la dueña tiene una abeja en su capó sobre un huevo revuelto que no forma parte de un irlandés tradicional; quién sabe. Todo lo que sé es que, durante nuestras 12 noches enteras en Irlanda, Poffs fue el único lugar que se negó a servir un huevo revuelto. No lo entiendo... parece una tontería. El resto de mi comida estaba bien, y mi esposa también disfrutó la suya. Lástima que algo tan simple como un huevo revuelto nos haga no volver.

Food was fabulous but expensive, €19.30 for breakfast albeit with a 2nd cup of coffee, more expensive than Dublin

Nice food but service was very slow and not particularly friendly. Saying ‘hi how are ye’ would you make a big difference.
