I recently visited with my friend and the food was absolutely divine. We both had the duck, which is always my go to. The duck was cooked to perfection beyond flavourful and delectable. Definitely on the top of my list of duck dishes. The portion sizes were perfect and we were not left in anyway hungry. dessert was just as delicious. I had the rhubarb posset which was flavourful and very light and creamy. My friend had the ginger pudding which I of course had to try and it was decadent. I was tempted to keep both to myself! The service was great and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Definitely a restaurant I would recommend to all, and one I will be frequenting.

My partner and I ate here over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, and all I can say is that it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. We started with the crab claws, which were so beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We struggled to choose our mains because we wanted to try everything, so my partner had the Sole and I had the duck, and we shared. Both meals were delicious and between the amazing food and beautiful wine we left there very satisfied. I cannot recommend this fabulous restaurant enough. I will certainly be back. We were delighted to meet the chef and pass on our thanks to him ourselves. Such a lovely talented man. Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

Good quality restaurant serving "proper" well cooked food. Judging by the night we booked, it is a "go to" place for special occasions and deservedly so. Generous crew of friendly staff - altogether a most enjoyable evening.

Diamond Rocks Cafe

15/03/2025: Nowhere will compete for sitting with a coffee and traybake watching waves crashing on the stunning headlands, after a dip in the Pollock Holes. Fantastic little spot and the food has never disappointed either. I've sat for many an hour in here and brought groups here too over the years. Perhaps my favourite coffee spot on the whole of the Wild Atlantic Way (and I've done all of it). (I remember when this was a pitch and putt course that we used to frequent every week in the summer. I was gutted when it turned into a cafe, but actually my adult-self now thinks it's the best thing ever! Not surprised at all that it's started doing wedding things, as it would be a dream venue to shoot photos on the Diamond Rocks, Amphitheatre etc nearby.)
03/11/2024: Nice place with a great view of kilkee. The blue pools when the tide is out are legendry. With cliff walks and magnificent sea views, the Dimond rocks are great to come back and relax to. Even if it's a tea and scone.
