Ponte Vecchio in Killaloe

We went there because it had such good reviews. The service was good. We arrived and a table was prepared for six of us very quickly. The room seemed cozy at first glance, but it was actually quite cluttered. Unfortunately, there was mold on the walls. The pizza was okay... the crust was very thin. The Margherita was very bland. Unfortunately, both the glasses and the sharing plates weren't clean. That was really unacceptable. We won't be coming back.

Just stopped for coffees & cake...served by friendly, welcoming staff in cosy, quirky surroundings. Cakes were 'melt in the mouth' and the coffee was proper Italian style....perfect !! Starbucks/Costa etc don't even come close...Support your local, independently owned cafes !

Always had a fantastic experience here !! Owner is a legend, food is solid the Pizzas are delicious and staff are always good craic!

A great stop for a bite to eat after a hike! We had some delicious cakes and coffee accompanied by a warm customer service. The value of everything on the menu was very reasonably priced. I can’t wait to come back here again 🙂

Great experience here, mainly down to Eilis who served us. We arrived with a one year old, who was getting tired, and she made him and us feel right at home. While we were there, an obnoxious customer arrived with her dog, and she was met with exemplary service and friendliness. I dont k ow how you do it!

I've just had my first disappointing pizza from here. Popped in for a takeaway - took ages to arrive - far longer than the suggested 10 minutes . Opened the box at home to find a luke warm pizza with a dried out crust. If I was eating in it would have been sent back.
