Great cafe in center of athlone. One of the best options for food with a large menu selection, friendly staff, dog friendly.

Lovely breakfast and really good value too! Definitely would recommend.

Spent a week in Ireland recently on a lightning visit and this was undoubtedly the best breakfast of the trip. Very welcoming place with great food and reasonable prices. Please open a branch cafe on Vancouver Island.

I had a really delicious breakfast of French toast with bacon, real Maple syrup and two fruits. It was so light and freshly cooked, beautifully presented and so tasty. I felt very satisfied together with a flat white I was set up for the day. Congrats on keeping your standards high. Geraldine it’s lovely when you are there but your staff are also efficient and friendly. Poppyfields is a gem to have in Athlone. I would recommend breakfast here for sure.
