Very good ham sandwich. Based on sourdough with thick slices of baked ham, good chese, topped up with tasty relish. Attentive and helpful service.

This place is just fantastic !!! Food and service is what all of Ireland's restaurants should be trying to attain to. They gave it in spades here.👏👏👏👏👏👏 Everything we ate was outstanding. Presentation super. Flavourful food and cheery and funny waitresses. Will be back soon. Highly recommend.

The service was great, and the food was alright even tho the bread was a bit too sweet. However, overall, the place needs some cleaning. If you're looking for any recommendations, I'd suggest you try the smashed burger and orange juice.

Delicious food, super varied menu, spotlessly clean and cracking funny and friendly staff. Here today for lunch and wow oh wow was it good. Really outstanding quality, flavourful and great quantity in all portions. I could have had all the dishes on menu and desserts too. Will be back again ..very soon to try a few more options. The goats cheese salad and chicken Tika salads were so tasty. Accompanied by sweet potato fries. The 3rd main was cod and chips and he was super happy. We had great chuckles with our friendly waitresses, never felt rushed and she tempted us (very easily) into desserts. The roulade, coffee cake and apple pie all were outstanding and the other options spied in paying the bill looked just as scrummy. Great to have great food and exception service in Athlone. The locals are so lucky.

3 generations had a quick bite here after a spot of shopping. The adults of the group hadn't eaten here in years and the 2 children had never been here before. We ordered 2 seafood chowders at €7.95 each. We could choose between brown bread or garlic bread which I thought was a lovely touch. My mother and I were impressed by the flavourful chowder which had plenty of fish chunks in it. The kids (aged 5.5 and 3.5 yrs) shared a chicken goujons and chips at €6.95 between them. They enjoyed it and asked when could they come back before we had even left. We ordered water for the table. Staff were efficient. There was a lovely atmosphere to the cafe both inside and outside (where we sat). Overall, we really enjoyed our quick bite here and would recommend it for being family friendly, reasonable and for the tasty chowder. Keep doing what you are doing. Maith thú.

Slightly off the main thoroughfare in Athlone - but a hidden gem (I say "hidden", but it's always busy when I go - so a popular eatery). Great selection of food and always very tasty. Staff always welcoming and friendly.
