Poppy Fields Cafe in Athlone

Been to this place on many occasions. I used to order their Irish Breakfast. I used to enjoyed it until recently. Used to come with hashbrown & mushroom. Now mushroom replaced by slice potatoes and mushroom is missing. For now, I will give their Irish breakfast a miss. Not for me. But their seafood chowder still a must try. Still as delicious as ever. The waitress are all very nice, courteous and pleasant. 5*. Ambience is great too. Nice & clean place. In summary, recommended place for a quick meal.

Lovely place to eat. Missed a star as order was slightly wrong but still delicious. V busy but served quickly. Ate outside in covered area under the heaters.

Brought my doggo .. he was treated very well .. blankets provided for the outside area nice touch . Coffee is good and staff always friendly
