Had lamb shank during a quiet weekday dinner. Was the best lamb shank I've ever had! Waiter (Phillip) was very considerate and accommodating; as was the chef. Lovely little street bistro with some cool pictures decorating the walls. Next time I'm back in Athlone, I'll bring my family. Keep up the great work! 👏👏

A small restaurant in the city center; we were lucky enough to get a table, and the service was quick and friendly. The dishes were typical of the country and delicious.

Our favorite cafe. We had a lot of fun several times when our poor English was completely misunderstood by the waiters who also had poor English. :D Delicious food and drinks all day long. Let's just say it's not a cheap place.

Very good food. The amount of Guinness stew was small, the bread was very large but the meat itself was scarce. The other dishes were well cooked. Friendly. Clean and fair.

18/07/2026: Great service for a birthday cake order
11/07/2026: The cake was beautiful and as advertised. The price was fair also. However we were handed a cake in 25 degree heat with no lid and told “store in a cold place.” The cake was for party in a restaurant 15 mins away and only when we insisted a lid should be provided was one fashioned out of plastic bags. The staff insisted they never preseng a cake with a lid. This is very bizarre. This really lets down your service. The cake tasted really good! Please invest in some lids and some proper cake boxes!

14/07/2026: I had the best Fiorentina steak for two in Ireland. Exceptional!!! Congratulations. All the dishes were cooked to perfection. We were served by Robert, who was truly talented and very professional. Compliments to the chef, who was certainly very knowledgeable. I hope to return soon.
26/06/2026: Had a great meal here. Steak was amazing with BBQ butter and Scallop starter. Decor could do with upgrading but doesn't take away from the great food.
