PORTERHOUSE in Oranmore

Had Lemon & Herbs Chicken. Was lovely, its decent size portion would definitely recommend.

Been here many times with my daughter and always amazing. Great cosy atmosphere, lovely staff and super service. Great menu, lots of options, addicted to the Turkey & Ham ;) and the mini fry (comes we one of the best coffees around and only €10:50 😎) although have tasted plenty on the menu and never a complaint about any dish, desserts are addictive too. Never let down in this place.

Excellent in all ways especially for the time of day. Really good portions in these days of shrinkflation.

We had our day 2 celebrations in the private room upstairs at the porterhouse. They recommended DJ Mitch (resident DJ) was very obliging on the night with song requests and a pleasure to talk to. The space is perfect for private celebrations and was warm and inviting with the beautiful fireplace. Aaron behind the bar was great to deal with. We really enjoyed our night here and highly recommend to anyone considering for a private party.

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and great staff. Advise to book ahead during busy periods, as it’s known for its quality so can be quite busy.

The food was delicious :) We ordered many different types of meat and it was delicious, the point was great, etc. It was so delicious that if we could, we would go back!!

This will be a first for me. After realising that a “mistake” had been made and not picking up on it until I returned to my hotel, I initially wrote a negative review venting my frustration and leaving a negative review. I’ve since then decided to delete what I originally wrote, due to how the Porterhouse resolved the problem. I also increased my review to 5star which is completely justified. I’m genuinely both equally impressed and surprised with how Alan dealt with everything. Thank you for exceptional customer service. How you dealt with my complaint surprised me as I truly thought the review would fall on deaf ears. Thank you.

My grown daughter and I enjoyed a lovely evening here. The seafood chowder was the best I have ever eaten in my life! Great atmosphere, very clean, and wonderful, friendly service. Highly recommended!
