PORTERHOUSE in Oranmore

This lovely Gastro Pub has to be one of the very best around County Galway. The Food, Atmosphäre and friendly Staff is incredible. Highly recommended. I will be back.

Top quality 👌 Went on a Monday evening and it was busy. Staff were fantastic 👏 and very helpful. The food was beautiful and the price was very reasonable

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Staff were *on the ball* on a busy Saturday lunch and navigated crawling toddlers with ease. We ordered the seafood chowder and the halloumi/porterhouse burgers. The portions were huge, very nice interesting mix of flavours for reasonable prices. The whole house did a fabulous job. Will come back!

Never had a bad meal or bad experience here. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, food is delicious (esp the buttermilk chicken burger) and cocktails are yummy! Best Guinness in Oranmore. I recommend booking a table to be sure you get a seat as I’ve chanced it midweek and had a wait time but wasn’t much (about 10/15 mins) Doesn’t deter me from coming back

Unexpected gem in Oranmore. Excellent food and pub (on a Monday night, too). Steak on salad was delicous and cooked perfectly. Seafood chowder loaded with seafood. Excellent Guiness, and Honey tart was rich and buttery. Server was very welcoming. Wish we lived closer!
