The best fries in town. Freshly made with a wide selection of different salts, sauces, and toppings.
When we finished our sauce, we got a free refill without even having to ask.

Had the pleasure of visiting this establishment yesterday (Monday 27th October). Was served by the kindest individual, unfortunately I didn’t get their name however I left feeling refreshed after the encounter, would love for them to get the recognition that they deserve!! The chips are really good, and the service is fast. Read menu properly!

Great food but my goodness the communication is awful. I came back the next day for the Jimmy after loving the garlic fries, and they had us come back later because the gravy wasn't ready. When we came back 40 min later they then informed us they were out of the chimmichuri. (Why wouldn't you mention this the first time) Absolute waste of time. G

Prátaí has certainly stirred up a conversation in Galway, and after a recent visit, I can see why. There’s a palpable buzz about the place, and it’s clear they’re aiming for something more refined than your typical chipper.
The chips themselves are undoubtedly good, crisp, well-cooked, and satisfying. However, while they are a definite cut above standard fast food, they didn’t quite reach the celestial heights the hype might suggest.
They stand confidently on par with some of the better pub fare available elsewhere in the city.

I have eaten here around five times already and each time has been delicious. The prices are very reasonable. If you haven’t eaten in Pratai at least once, have you really visited Galway?

The food was nice, but the menu was irritating with a lot of weird names, the queue was long and the tables were dirty. Also the atmosphere was very loud, they chop the potatoes right Infront of you which is very annoying
