Proby's Bistro in Cork

Charming exterior with solid food options.

We had the opportunity to visit Probys twice during our stay in Cork, once for dinner and another time for Sunday brunch. On both occasions, the service was friendly, and the food was the best we had during our trip.

Breakfast so good we had to come back for dinner… and dinner was even better. Dinner is a 2 course pre-fixe packed full of great options for all. Perfect walk from city center. Come.

Not possible to fault, such a great dinner experience!

First time trying probys this Saturday evening. The food was really good. Bursting with flavours. & the coeliac with me had so much choice. Most things were adaptable for him which is great. So accommodating. And our waitress was lovely. Very knowledgeable on the gf options. We’ll be back soon.

The atmosphere was incredible, the staff was very welcoming, and the food was amazing. I'm shocked that I didn't try it before. I highly recommend visiting Probys Kitchen.

We have been to this Irish restaurant twice. The menu is not very varied and with too many dishes, but since it is Irish cuisine it is normal. Anyway it is very good. The meat with chimichurri that I ordered (exquisite) is accompanied by tomatoes, querilles (delicious), some salad… very good. The desserts were also tasty. The pleasant atmosphere and the attention of the staff are unbeatable. And at a good price.

Stopped for delicious lunch, pork wrap and wonderful carrot and coriandar soup and prawn and chorizo pasta. Only negative, not really dog friendly. Understand, with our dog, we couldn't be inside, but they have a lovely patio area ..... not allowed there with a dog. We had to sit near the road. Service excellent, staff brought water bowl for our labrador which was thoughtful.

Great for brunch. Not ideal for kids but they were happy to accommodate us.

Really nice lunch destination, we've gone back a few times to work through the menu.
