Proper Carlingford in Carlingford

We attended PROPER for a beautiful meal where our tastebuds were certainly tantalised beyond belief. The chicken wings were 10/10 and the chicken curry was to die for. I KNOW that everybody who attended the Hen Party would certainly recommend PROPER to their friends and family. A huge well done to the gentleman waiter who clearly has acrobatic balancing skills. All good here, nice food and good staff

The food smelt beautiful, and it seemed promising, but the service was lacking. Loads of large parties were in and normally I would be sympathetic with that but given the location you would expect an establishment like this to be used to large groups. We were seated late, then there wasn't enough seats for our party, a soup starter was brought out so late that everyone else had finished their starters, the chips were luke warm and the fresh cream was warmer than the inside of the chocolate brownie for desert! The meal had already been paid for as part of a party package prior to the trip so felt there was little benefit in complaining! The place has potential and the food tasted nice, just the temperatures were a bit off.

Fab spot ! We got a fry and bap and both lovely and so was the coffee - 10/10

This is one of my new places to go and it's got great food, a smaller menu choice but plenty of choice, staff are lovely and I've always got a table when I've been. Parking just outside and just so handy, try it and see.
