Lovely spot upstairs for a vegetarian lunch with windows overlooking the river. Friendly staff and good for gluten free options too. Highly recommend it.

18/02/2026: Went in here for a quick drink. Had Murphys and a G&T. Prices on par with other pubs in the area and London. They had the 6 Nations game on (Ireland v Italy). Wasn't a loud pub as sometimes you expect with pubs showing sports. Would recommend
16/10/2025: Twas a grey grey day, I was inclined and feeling open, to a creamy drop. I was wearing my trusty dewalts not a scuff in sight. I was feeling strong like a rolled steel joint (RSJ). I had my trusty work friend with me when we happened upon this lovely little battle cruiser (BOOZER). After a Guinness we’re persuaded to have a creamy beamy (beamish). Scrumptious delightful some might say the air was palpable. We necked a few staring at the walls which are nice and talking to the legendary bar man himself. He is a legend. Roy Keane brother often goes to this little joint. At this point I was spinning my work mate was straight on my case he said “ you’ve had a few” I said YOUVE HAD A FEW YOURSELF. We parted ways I’ve never seen him since. I do miss that viscous little man from time to time. Here’s to a great bar.

10/01/2026: My favourite Chinese in cork city. Amazing every time
22/12/2025: I came in for a takeaway and it was one of the best Chinese takeout meals I'd had in ages! What impressed me most about this visit was the service: I explained that I was a vegan and the waiter straightaway checked that what I wanted had no egg, meat, oyster sauce, and also whether I had allergies. I got a Vegetable Kung Po and requested it be extra spicy. I could see the guy adding it to my order on the computer: "extra chilli". And boy it was hot!! I loved it. My meal had cashews in it too which I loved. My wife got Prawn Satay and she was impressed at how many prawns she got (9-10 big ones in the container). She also got heaps of veges. They weren't skint.
