Quay West Ballina in Ballina

Fantastic place. Great food and great service. Definitely worth a visit.

So glad we found this restaurant while visiting Ballina. Rang last minute. We were delighted to be offered a high table at the bar which was perfect for us. Food fabulous!! Service fantastic. Surf & Turf, Chowder, Thai red curry gorgeous, Sauces for all our meals where Very Very tasty!!! Love the darker wood in the bar/restaurant it gives a really nice cosy atmosphere. The girl manager was great very attentive, we where well looked after. The kids are still talking about it. Cant wait to return.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Quay West in Ballina, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I ordered the duck spring rolls and the chicken curry, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The duck spring rolls were perfectly crisp on the outside with rich, flavorful filling, and the chicken curry was wonderfully balanced with tender chicken and a beautifully spiced sauce. Paul, the chef, is clearly talented and passionate about his craft — his attention to flavor and presentation really shines through in every bite. The service was warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable evening. I can’t recommend Quay West enough for anyone looking for great food in Ballina. I’ll definitely be returning!

Best creamy seafood chowder and brown Irish Soda bread in all Ireland

Was there last year for dinner while visiting Ballina. I ordered the Penne Carbonara. It was fantastic!! One of the best meals of my trip. I will be back to Ballina one day. And when I am, I'll be giving this place another visit. Thank you for the wonderful food and great service.

An absolutely perfect stay! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and feels completely authentic. The food itself deserves full marks, whether it's burgers, fish, or meat. Top-notch!

We didn't eat. But the food looked lovely that we seen being served. Sean the bar tender was lovely and great table service in the outside area with great sun. Child & pet friendly.
