Absolutely blown away by the cake Quigley’s made for my wife’s birthday! It looked stunning, tasted incredible, and was a real showstopper at the party. Everyone was asking where we got it from and my wife couldn’t have been happier! What made it even better was how quick and easy their online ordering service was. Simple to navigate, great communication, and everything was ready exactly as promised. Massive thanks to the whole team at Quigley’s for making the day extra special. We’ll definitely be ordering again for the next occasion! 🎂👏

Excellent soda bread! Came in for a bowl of soup (also very nice) and liked the bread so much we got a loaf for home. The innner covered courtyard is really nice as well.

12/10/2025: Me and a friend brought our 2 small girls for afternoon tea yesterday afternoon. The room is beautifully done out. Loved the Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea. Would like more savory options, as these were very tasty and some things were overly sweet. However this is probably the way with all afternoon teas. Service was very good, waiter was very friendly.
27/07/2025: We visited this tea room with high hopes — hoping to have a lovely time and enjoy some nice desserts. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. All the desserts were far too sweet. The cakes had a heavy buttercream, which I really didn’t enjoy. The Pavlova dessert had an overbaked, dry meringue. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the money

08/11/2025: We had dinner at Mario’s Diner in Kilkenny on Saturday night and the place was really busy, which is always a good sign. Even though it was packed, the staff were friendly and found us a table pretty quickly. I went for the smash burger and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had — juicy, flavorful and perfectly cooked. My partner loved the food too. The diner has a cool American 50’s look, fun music, and a nice atmosphere overall. Prices are fair, portions are big, and the service was fast considering how busy it was. We’ll definitely come back again!
