Rasam in Dublin

Outstanding Indian food. The flavours are exceptional. Perfect size portions. Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere and even when busy it's easy to hear your table's conversation. Dessert cheesecake was sublime! The whole meal was a wonderful experience.

An absolute jewell of South County Dublin. Some of the best Indian food you'd ever hope to eat in your life. My personal favourite is the dum pukht gosht, a lamb dish, but really I've never had anything here that is anything less than exemplary. And I have to praise the owner Nisheeth as well - incredibly kind, courteous and accommodating

Un maravilloso restaurante local con estándares consistentes. Hemos estado comiendo en Rasam regularmente los últimos 20 años. Hay un ambiente encantador allí y la comida y el servicio son excelentes. El menú de pájaro fácil es excelente relación calidad-precio y hay una maravillosa variedad de comida en él. Recomendaría encarecidamente el entrante de cerdo (una comida en sí) el pollo delhi o el pollo de remolacha. Las guarniciones son frescas y variadas. Es un placer para calentar el corazón tener una comida encantadora aquí.

Dining at Rasam was an unforgettable experience, and it wasn’t just because of the incredible food—it was the hospitality that truly set it apart. Nisheeth, the owner, treated us like family from the moment we walked through the door. We were celebrating our anniversary, and he went above and beyond to make the occasion extra special. Nisheeth’s kindness and attention to detail were remarkable. He surprised us with complimentary drinks, gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen (where we got to see the impressive tandoori oven in action!), and even shared fantastic local recommendations for things to do in Dublin. It genuinely felt like reconnecting with a long-lost uncle who wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible. The food itself was exquisite—each dish bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared. And the kulfi dessert? Simply divine! Creamy, rich, and perfectly sweet, it was the best way to end an already phenomenal meal. If you’re in Dublin, Rasam isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to feel at home. We can’t wait to return!

Nice restaurant, smells pleasantly of roses. The food was excellent and the service was very courteous and competent

When we arrived at the restaurant for dinner on Saturday night, we got a really warm welcome from the owner/maitre’d. The restaurant was full. There was a great buzz without it being a noisy din. Plenty of staff who attended to the customers with professionalism and a smile. The food is well covered in other reviews.
