Rasam in Dublin

Walked into Rasam on a Sunday evening with no reservation and were easily accommodated. Front-of-house staff are to be commended on the warm and pleasant atmosphere they create. Everyone was smiling and made us feel genuinely welcome. Our son ordered a dish that wasn't on the menu and they were more than happy to prepare it. It was a Paneer makhani and it was very good. The fried spinach leaves starter was excellent as well, crunchy, tasty and refreshing. The okra side was also very good. We ordered the fried cabbage side as well and this was very mild in terms of flavours. It was topped with desiccated coconut which I'm not a fan of, unfortunately. We also ordered the vegetarian thali, which was enjoyable. All in all a delightful evening and we left full and happy.

What a lovely restaurant! Everything was perfect from the very beginning. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was really, really tasty and beautifully presented. I can’t wait to go again.

Un maravilloso restaurante local con estándares consistentes. Hemos estado comiendo en Rasam regularmente los últimos 20 años. Hay un ambiente encantador allí y la comida y el servicio son excelentes. El menú de pájaro fácil es excelente relación calidad-precio y hay una maravillosa variedad de comida en él. Recomendaría encarecidamente el entrante de cerdo (una comida en sí) el pollo delhi o el pollo de remolacha. Las guarniciones son frescas y variadas. Es un placer para calentar el corazón tener una comida encantadora aquí.

When we arrived at the restaurant for dinner on Saturday night, we got a really warm welcome from the owner/maitre’d. The restaurant was full. There was a great buzz without it being a noisy din. Plenty of staff who attended to the customers with professionalism and a smile. The food is well covered in other reviews.
