Ré Coffee and Design in Galway

My husband and I stopped here for coffee during our honeymoon in Ireland. It was such a a charming shop. The coffee was delicious and there were several handmade displays of items from various artists, including jewelry, pottery, wool blankets, cards, and journals.

Great coffee. And the cookies are class

I've been traveling around Ireland in my campervan for a few weeks. From time to time I drink a cappuccino with oat milk in various cafés. But so far I've never been really satisfied (complaining at a high level). But here in this little inconspicuous shop in Galway/Salt Hill I have finally found the perfect cappuccino. Not too hot, wonderfully creamy foam and a wonderful atmosphere in this little shop where you can also buy other things like notebooks and pens and ceramics, all very individual.

Barista Rohan served me here one day, what a top shagger, best coffee Ive ever had. He looked a bit like that lad from the movie drive, he was even wearing racing gloves which was odd but I wont complain. He made a tiny little tree on my coffee which was amazing. I still think about him to this day.

A lovely cafe, excellent ambience and service, loved the walnut banana cake. Cant' wait to visit again.
