Red Earth in Mullingar

Lovely experience. Food and service were excellent. Coffee refresh was a nice touch and the staff were very friendly and helpful in both the restaurant and shop. I'm also very happy with the beautiful lamp that I bought in the shop.

It was my first time here and it was recommended to me by a local. There were about 3 or 4 specials on the menu board as you enter ..... I had decided on 1 of them, as I was standing in a small queue I decided last minute to try the chicken/cashew/rice option from the Asian menu. It was made fresh as I was allocated my table. You get your own cutlery/serviettes and as much water as you like. When the food arrived, it was steaming hot and IMO was a very generous portion with plenty of chicken & cashews. The restaurant is spotless, large, busy with generous seating arrangements. Toilet facilities are spacious & spotless. The were smiling uniformed staff everywhere, IMO it was a great experience, reasonably priced lovely food and a place that I highly recommend.

We stopped by for breakfast and it was wonderful, a great choice and delicious breakfast, we had a browse in the shop and were very pleased with the service by all the staff who attended us. Highly recommended

Lovely food. If you're visiting or passing through Mullingar this place is really worth a visit. Nice shopping area too but the food is the main attraction.

Can't rate the food.. the wait was more than 10min to simply see a menu.. while I'm aware the place is popular with locals but it took so long to find parking , then getting to order took just as long and the menu was way up front so waiting behind 12 people still trying to order made it impossible...sorry guys.. will try again another time

Even though it was very busy, we were seated within 10 mins. It was worth the wait! The smash burger was amazing and my daughter loved her pasta. Staff were friendly and helpful as well! It’s a little pricey for lunch but their sandwich and soup options are reasonable and just as tasty.
