Regan's Gastro Pub and Restaurant in Roscommon

Found this Gastro pub in Roscommon and liked it so Much we ate there twice. Family owned for over 50 years, the food was well prepared. They were very helpful with my sister’s lactose issues, checking with the kitchen to double check on ingredients.

Had the stake sandwich. The bread fell apart , soggy bottom . No flavour. chips were over cooked.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beer is delicious and varied. A must-try if you're ever in the area.

Service can be slow at times but otherwise a lovely lovely place to eat.

We got the fish and chips. It was ok, we get much better and bigger fillets at home. It was an upgraded Mrs Paul’s frozen fish sticks. We will continue the search for the best fish and chips in Ireland…service was good tho

A very pleasant surprise! After 14 days on holiday in Ireland, the hake wasn't deep-fried in batter for the first time, absolutely delicious! It was also perfectly seasoned, and the service was very friendly, even though I arrived just before closing time...Thanks from the Swiss lady 😃

Just got around to reviewing this place. I was looking forward to eating in the No 1 rated restaurant in Roscommon but I was disappointed. The place had a bit of a run down feel to it and the amount of flies was infuriating. Mixed levels of service but I can’t say it was bad or that the staff were not nice but some were much better than others. Food was really average at best and I won’t be rushing back but I don’t know if there is anywhere else in the locality that would be better.

Loved being seated by the fire on a rainy night! The service was excellent, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed the salad, onion rings, and amazing fried brie. I usually don't eat dessert, but the ice cream was delightful. Highly recommended!!!
