Regan's Gastro Pub and Restaurant in Roscommon

Had the stake sandwich. The bread fell apart , soggy bottom . No flavour. chips were over cooked.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beer is delicious and varied. A must-try if you're ever in the area.

Service can be slow at times but otherwise a lovely lovely place to eat.

We got the fish and chips. It was ok, we get much better and bigger fillets at home. It was an upgraded Mrs Paul’s frozen fish sticks. We will continue the search for the best fish and chips in Ireland…service was good tho

A very pleasant surprise! After 14 days on holiday in Ireland, the hake wasn't deep-fried in batter for the first time, absolutely delicious! It was also perfectly seasoned, and the service was very friendly, even though I arrived just before closing time...Thanks from the Swiss lady 😃

The food was delicious and the atmosphere excellent. My salmon was perfectly cooked and the mash and white wine sauce accompaniments were heavenly. The Cotes du Rhone was lovely. What made are visit perfect was our young waiter, Dean. We enjoyed chatting to him so much and we're grateful for recommendations of places to visit in Roscommon and Ireland.

Bar is beautiful. The fire was lovely as it was very cold and wet outside. I ordered bbq chicken wings with a bluecheese dip, and french fries. My son ordered cajun chicken panini. My wings were dried out, and obviously not fresh today. They were served on top of a spoon scrapping OF blue cheese dressing, and drizzled with bbq sauce from a bottle!! The little sise salad was limp. The French fries were OK. My sons chicken was really dry aswell. I asked for more blue cheese as it was supposed to be dip and the waitress brought it then in a little dipping pot. Honestly, I felt that I was just getting left over blue cheese dressing scrapped on a plate- I'm not saying it was but that is what it tasted and looked like. I ate 2 wings and my son ate tge rest along with the chips/ french fries. The reason I scored a 3 star was based on friendly staff and lovely bar atmosphere. But food I'd only give 1 star. I would not serve that food at my own table, so I expected more.
