Regan's Gastro Pub and Restaurant in Roscommon

Unfortunately too expensive for what you get, including the size of a portion. Polite staff. Chocolate brownie was nice.

On a cold February afternoon Regans was a warm, comforting place. The muted lighting, the warm stove, the friendly, professional staff, the decor and overall atmosphere created a great sense of a good place to eat and relax. The food was freshly cooked, perfectly seasoned, tasted great, good portions and very satisfying. There are daily specials which is always good to see. The quality of service was great: good, polite, pleasant, professional staff are worth their weight in gold and Regan’s has them. A place I’ll be returning to.

I stopped here many times and was always happy 😊. Today, the bar was very over staffed with "kids" nobody supervising them and they certainly needed it, a young lad brought us 2 pints of Guinness took my order and went out the door , 1/2 hour went by and I asked a young waitress did he even go to the kitchen with my order , she went away and I had to ask her again, couldn't be bothered to tell me it had only gone in , now the food was excellent 😀. Then ordered a coffee, it was dreadful , couldn't drink it . Now paying kids to do this job and asking us to pay top dollar for the food is not good enough 😒

Ordered food and after a 30 minute wait we asked a waitress how long our food would be, after another 10 minutes we asked her again, she said oh yea it's on its way. Food when it arrived was good, ordered coffee which was totally undrinkable. Too much irrelevant chatter behind the bar by staff, no apparent management

I visited Regans with my family while we were in Roscommon October 31,2024 approximately 6pm. Everything about our visit was fantastic the Staff was friendly and professional. Our meals were fresh and delicious. We highly recommend when in Roscommon stop in and enjoy the same service we got.

Dined in Regans on an early Friday evening. Got the last available table at 6pm. Shared starters of Brie and seafood. Both excellent. Steak sandwiches, burger and fillet steak for mains. Absolutely delicious. Fillet was amazing. Lovely service in cosy surroundings. Will definitely be back.
