One of the best hotel i have stayed. Very delicious food friendly staff, a very special mention to Danielle in reception. Highly recommend and definitely will be back soon

This is a beautiful small hotel. On arrival I was made to feel welcome by the receptionist on duty who was very friendly, professional and informative. The room are absolutely spotless, cosy and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and they have very friendly and efficient staff. Check out isn't untill 12 which is a bonus. Only downfall is I had to park in a public car park about 600 metre away. Loved this hotel though, they're doing everything right.

I was very surprised at how good the hotel was for a 3star, the room I had with a riverside view was lovely, very clean, I suffer was a bad back but the bed was very comfy, very quiet, I had a lovely sleep, I had dinner in the bar the seafood chowder was lovely, staff were pleasent and very attentive to all customers, thankyou, breakfast was lovely and a great choice, I would highly recommend staying here, such a great price for bed and breakfast, Riverside is more like a 4star, I will be back again and thankyou for a lovely stay.

I'm staying here two nights on business and have been very impressed with the place. The rooms are immaculate and spacious, the staff are brilliant. The only down side is that there is only half a dozen parking spaces other than that you have to park on the road which is metred.

27/09/2024: We were on a driving tour of Ireland with friends. Staying at the nearby Glasshouse we were looking for a restaurant for dinner that was close by. The exterior was unpretentious but once inside there was a pleasant ambiance. Service was very attentive and the food was good. I had the tempura prawns as a starter which was huge and very tasty. For main I had the slow cooked beef which was also nice. All our party enjoyed the meal.

11/09/2024: It's fifty years since I last ate in this Sligo institution, and it was delightfully old fashioned even then. I was amazed to find it unchanged! The decor is lovely, with an airy cafe feel, though they've added a little extension. Packed to the door with locals - always a good sign - we were lucky to get a table. (It got a lot quieter at 2pm as everyone returned to work.) I wasn't expecting much, but the food really does taste homemade ! Quite how they manage this I don't know. We had the steak & mushroom pie and the glazed ham. Both great value for money. We highly recommend Lyons cafe for lunch.
