Sunday open-mic in the upper bar was a highlight of our visit to Ireland. Very talented musicians, mostly locals, mostly playing originals. Lively, supportive atmosphere and great fun.

Good pub, but you come here for the live music rather than a twee trad pub experience. Clearly a real hot spot for live music in the West of Ireland. We saw local boys Amos Moses, a great energetic rock act with a crowd who clearly enjoyed themselves. So if interesting live music is your thing this place is worth a visit. Fair entrance prices too.

Cafe Roscoe's

05/11/2024: We spent 3 days in Galway and this cafe was the best one we went to, as the staff were extremely friendly, whom made such an effort to entertain their customers over the Halloween Festival (as you can see they were all dressed up in cool costumes) and the food and drinks were fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you for the experience, regards the two Aussie's Shaz & Daz PS the smoothies are yummy 😋
