Brilliant bar for hearing live music and enjoying the Galway atmosphere.

One of the few places open late (3am) on a Sunday night in Galway

Currently here for Pride at the Bears, Bottoms and Beats even which is meant to be a MENS event, but it is full of women. DJ is also better downstairs in the main room (which where all the gay men have seem to gone)

Standing room only not very clean a bit smelly before crowds arrive

Good quality drinks but very small and cramped

One fo the best pub in galway to enjoy good vibe. It got two levels, one with music and dark areas on ground floor and other on first floor which is good for socializing.

Grand AUL time after dropping a few Tesla's but sure the bouncer at the door the lad who's there the whole time said that he'd do anything to be suffucated between my thighs. I found this comment quite odd and interpreted as a joke but he said to me the kids are with the ex for the weekend and he lives in walking distance , then dangled the keys in my face like I'm a golden retriever going for walkies

The perfect live music venue. Big enough to generate atmosphere, small enough to generate intimacy. Saw Bernard Butler here and had a brilliant night, even though I was travelling alone.
