Really nice food! Coffee reasonably priced too. But lads, the service honestly. Staff are friendly but a lot of the times you can be waiting ages to be served for coffee. Either there is not enough staff on or they are just under pressure with people in the restaurant. I have walked out a few times because nobody was able to service…not a reflection on staff manners as they are. My advice to management/owners is ensure staff man the coffee checkout for customers.

Lovely place, esp the terrace restaurant, but the food was disappointing. Nothing special about the honey baked ham sandwich- tasted like just another cold deli sandwich

I went to eat and I fell and I slipped and I accidentally poked my eye out with a spoon and I hurt myself a lot, but the food is nutritious and to eat and drink many nutrients and vitamins, the carbohydrates are very rich 😁😁😁👍😜😜❤️

Had a really lovely meal in Rolys this afternoon and all eleven family members were really impressed by the food, staff and the way we were looked after. Sarfaraz Khan restaurant manager always looks after your every need and nothing is a problem. Thoroughly enjoyed today well done Khan and all the staff at Roly's See you soon. Gerry

Still one of the best restaurants in Dublin. The next time I visit I will take advantage of the early bird special if you dine before 6:15. Good selection for vegetarians, although fewer vegetables than I remember from previous dinners. Update: ask for the vegetarian menu!

Arrived in Dublin on a Sunday night and met up with a colleague for a nice dinner. And it was NICE. The ambiance was cosy and although it was full, we were able to talk about business over a beautiful bottle of wine from the extensive choices of wine. We were the last to leave and they were very patient with us. Note to self, restaurants close early so plan dinner time early enough.

10/12/2024: Lots of average going on here. On a wintery Sunday, we hoped for some Christmas cheer, but it was not to be. We had a starter and a main and the portions were good, in fact too much food for me. Tarte Tatin with goats cheese was very nice. Main of chicken breast was not so good; somehow still contained bone fragments so just a bit careless from chef. Flavour was fine, but crispy shallots were missing. Drinks were very disappointing. No draught beers on despite having a good row of taps. Wine selection very limited and no obvious option of spirits. Decor tired and in need of some care. Overall, really average for 120 Euros i expected better. Service was meh.

13/12/2024: Buscando una cena de última hora, encontramos La Cueva. Este es un pequeño restaurante único con asientos limitados. Uno de los edificios más antiguos de Dublín y es una joya. Este bar de vinos y el personal era maravilloso. Una visita obligada en Dublín. A poca distancia del hotel.
16/11/2024: Esto es una joya de un restaurante. Muy acogedor con un ambiente encantador. Todos teníamos el mismo plato principal que era simplemente delicioso. El camarero no podría haber sido más encantador y educado. El problema vino con uno de los arrancadores pedidos. Mousse de aguacate con cóctel de gambas y salmón ahumado. Nos dimos cuenta antes de comérnoslo que faltaba la mousse de avacado e interrogamos a la camarera al respecto... su respuesta fue simplemente sí falta. Fue reemplazado por 2 pequeñas porciones de avacdo. Entonces nos dimos cuenta de que el salmón ahumado también faltaba... la respuesta a eso fue sí, lo siento, voy a quitar un par de euros de la cuenta. Dejamos claro que realmente no pensamos que fuera suficiente, ya que no habríamos pedido el plato si simplemente hubiera sido un cóctel de gambas. Ella nos dijo que no podía reducir el precio más y no deberíamos haber comido las gambas si no estábamos contentos! Habríamos regresado a este restaurante pero sentimos que el servicio al cliente no era bueno en absoluto... de hecho, llamaría a esta camarera ‘grosera’. Qué pena.
